It seems from what I read here that Eircom are up to their old tricks again. Making it awkard for other ISP's to use their network using the exchange upgrade as an excuse. You don't see many who are with them giving out about it do you? It seems all is reasonably working well for them.
In relation to wireless however it really depends on as was mentioned where you live and if you have a clear line of site of the nearest base station. Overall it may be a better option than DSL if the speeds mentioned are anything to go by. Of course if you are in a cable area that's another option too, as both do not depend on that monopoly telco. |
