Line upgrades aren't going to effect the quality or speed of your wireless connection. More than likely someone has put up a few networks in the area (possibly other wifi networks) operating on the 2.4Ghz spectrum (cordless phones, some wireless TV senders etc) that are operating on a similiar frequency or there's something else interfering with either the transmission of the signal local to the router or the reception of said signal local to the receiver on the computer.
Do you notice alot of other wifi networks when you scan for wireless networks in the area? |
