 Update
Thanks for the replies. I am at the edge of an exchange, which was why Eircom said they could never supply me with broadband. Despite the lows speeds now, the SmartTelecom BB is relaible - no dropouts yet. That said, is there anything I can do to boost the strength of my line?
Even with no splitters and just the router attached to my phone line, my top download speed is 30Kbps.
