Yeah I'm using clearwire in Donnybrook. Pretty excellent service for normal web browsing - usually have 5 lights on the modem. I haven't got around to an official ISP speed test yet but may do for interest's sake. I also moved from
IBB - possibly the worst compnay I have ever had the pleasure of working with in my life, tech support can't tie their own shoelaces. The guy who turned up to "set it up" was a decent fella and he told me I could get p2p working. This is not the case for me at all. No more emule or soulseek. I can test the ports successfully on my own machine but they've obviously blocked the ports on their routers or summat.
I'm pretty annoyed to be honest but reckon I'll just leg it on them the fookers!
About contracts - just cancel the direct debit with your bank and if they want to come after you let them. In this day and age being tied to a contract is a load of nonsense. Are they really going to track each customer down for €100. Doubt it. Just ask Vodafone about me. Fat chance they'll see that cash!
