Default Babcock & Brown set to buy Eircom ?whats the future will bring

Babcock & Brown set to buy Eircom ?whats the future will bring

If the sale goes through We have the usual thre possibilties good middle and bad

Hopefully the statement that carving up Eircom is no longer a viable option is a good indicator that this isnt another feeding freenzy on the decaying carcass of Eircom but the arrival of a serious long term investor that will turn around the company and rejuvinate it back to a 21 century Telcom player and supply the essensial and usefull Telcom services at resonable prices and resonable Quality to all the country

A decent mission statement will be a help instead of the rudderless drifting seen prior to this

Hopefully we can look forward to recieving the same service what the French have some 20 megabits broadband at a reasonable price in 90% of Ireland by 2010 and 100% coverage at some 4megs so we can all have real time vidio and films and cable services and therefore find a resulting surge in demand for broadband as relevant to the majorities needs and requirement to name but a few of the sevices desperalty needed ASAP

Others will be hoping for rapid expansions in cellular and mobile solutions for buisness needs in terms of voice and broadband services

Yes there is vast opertunaties for a good company to make good profits supply a good service at a reasonable price and give Ireland a win win for all conserned

So for me and many of the slowband users costomers at the mercy of the Telcoms a belivebale trully attainable a bit adventurous mission statement is more important than a simplex cheapest cruddy no investmestment slow band service asset stripping no future for all concerned and are the measures that I am to consider if I were to consider to take out any Eircom products

Flyingpinkelephants ...........wishing the the potensialy soon to be new owners of Eircom a succefull future if they wish to be a serious long term Telcom
