Again, I can only report my own findings, and think Nova are getting a bashing here for performance issues which I genuinely do not see. I also use VoIP to provide an office extension at home, and use it continually at home.
The results of my speedtests, are visible to Blacknight who can tell us whether my figures compare well or not with other users and other providers.
Todays test shows: 2.76Mbit download and 2.24Mbit upload.
I take it that the last posting from Peteg was from a non-Nova user ( he reports on all the people telling him how bad the service is ). He appears to be an expert in wireless stuff.

Me, I'm just a user of the service, and would agree that we should not put up with a service which is less than the service we sign up for. I certainly would not. In my case, ( can't speak for anyone else - and don't have any wireless installation experience or wireless testers ), my service works fine. My downloads are fast ( frequently over the 2Mbit rate for which I pay - see todays figures), my VoIP works, and I don't live in Carrigaline.  |
