I saw a guy in a Smart Telecom van stopped at a petrol station in Mullingar today and asked him if he knew when the Mullingar exchange would be enabled for Broadband. His reply "probably never" there are so many exchanges in their built program (I think he said 6000 exchanges, but can't believe there are that many in the country) Any way his general tone was "don't hold your breath!" So much for "it's in our build program for this year" which the telesales people always dole out! |
