I signed up for Clearwire Broadband in January, and I had to cancel it last week, I found the service terrible. I live in Rathmines Dublin 6. I was supposed to be receiving 2mb and the most I ever got was 1.1, and that was shockingly slow. When I signed up for it, the sales rep fed me with the same bullsh*t that the signal would improve ina week or so, however I figured out that this was complete crap, as the signal only got worse. Most of the time the signal was around 565kbps, an absolute joke for €29.95 a month. Then to add to my anger, they overcharged me on two seperate occassions and when I contacted them about it they were very standoffish and tried to blame it on me. The second time I was overcharged I rang them up four times and I have emailed them 6 times, and still I have not heard back about the situation
, so that was the straw that broke the camels back, I had enough and sent back the modem and canceled my DD with them. My advice STAY AWAY FROM CLEARWIRE!!!
