 Some REALLY bad clearwire results today

I'm on the 2mb package, I've had a varied experience with clearwire. I decided to go with them because eircom wanted 150 for installation and then as u know the 24 euro for line rental and thats before i choose an isp. We don't have many alternatives to choose from and initially I was quite pleased with the service which I have been signed up to since the middle of may. Up until today everything has been OK, sometimes the gaming is a little laggy but most of the time it's fine. HOWEVER, since this weekend it has been really crap, I live in the harolds cross area of dublin and always get 5 lights on my modem, so the signal is fine, the issue is their backbone infrastructure: take a look at my broadband speeds below...

Those aren't doctored, Its like 1995 speeds all over again...its just terrible. Even with this in mind, I still don't regret choosing them too much, if I went with Eircom my phone line would have been installed about 10 weeks after I ordered. I did however receive a phone call from eircom about a week ago, it was regarding a complaint I made at the beginning of may...  |
