 Permanet & ESB
I have been out for a few days also. Why dont they have a generator at the kerry site? I have friends who use irishbroadband and kerrybroadband and they had no problems with the so called esb outage. I am located in the Castlegregory area and rumours are that we are going to be disconnected due to Permanet transmitting outside their 15km service area. I think they are allowed to transmit up to 30km taking in to account of the interference zone but we are 42Km from Knockanure, the base station in north Kerry. I have looked at the licence rules and it clearly states that the maximum is 15Km. I will have to get clarification from Comreg tomorrow. |
