Yes, I am a permanet customer, It was fine for ages but now the service is crap.
If you read the thread carefully you will find that the esb outage was the cause of the whole system being down and i find that hard to believe in this day and age that they dont have a generator or UPS. The other issue was the lack of clarification on the service areas.
I dont want to continue and put up with a service which could be cut off because some donkey installed outside the area. If you bother to learn to use a GPS you will find that the Tralee Bay Hotel is approx 42Km from knockanure.
You will find that operators who transmit outside their service areas interfer with other operators and Comreg has a role to ensure that providers act according to their licence agreement. By the way, I spoke to a lady in Comreg today and she has provisionally confirmed that Permanet are in breach of their licence. They have to investigate further.
