No I dont work for Permanet neither do I work for
IBB. If an ISP I use does good then I praise them, if they do badly then I criticise them, thats my policy on this BB.
Permanet posted on this BB, explaining what went wrong. Ok they screwed up, not the first time it happened, wont be the last either. Concentrate on getting some money back from them for the downtime, not clouding the issue with distance queries and the like.
If you think that you are getting a service that you should be getting, for what ever reason, contact ComReg. All I want is a service thats reliable and if it isnt then I want money back till a consistent ISP arrives on the National scene. It would appear that our objectives are different.
As for talking the talk, I appreciate your compliment, as I do work in the IT field so its nice to get some recognition. As for using a GPS, why bother you have just told me how far it is from the mountain. As for Permanet, if you that hacked off, just end the service agreement you have with them. As for reading, well, the fibre links were down, thats an ESB backbone issue.
