For anyone with a home network I would suggest looking at router setups/firewalls as I have resolved a lot of issues with permanet users, nothing to do with the service. |
Cheers for the advice, I have tried 4 different types of router, with numerous firmware versions, I am still gettting disconnects, in fact over the last 2 days I reckon I have had about 20 DCs of about 4 - 8 secs each. Even when my PC is connected directly in the Permanet POE box, I still get the DCs, funny thing is, when I connect my
IBB service either directly to the same PC or throught any of the routers, I do not get the DCs to the servers I use. I have checked the servers they are all up, the PC is OK, the routers wrok on one service and not the other, so its another one for the permanet tech boys to ponder.
