I dont want to use this as an advert but we have taken out a number of Permanet systems from customers who were having the same trouble with DC. we replaced the equipment with our equipment and pointed in the same direction as permanet.

We too suffered problems but because we install ourselves and do not use contractors, we have the knowledge to spend time and fine tune the radios. In some villages we have installed a dedicated base station for that village therefore reducing the distance from the client to the base station and this has had a huge efect on speeds and outages.

Also from the sliabh mish site you have to remember that there are two providers operating on the 3.5Ghz spectrum, IBB and Permanet, both competing in the same areas and from what we have seen on the spectrum analyzer there is plenty of cross interference on that band. There is also a third provider currently testing from that site which is adding to the interference.

Basically, every provider has problems but only a few have the time and the resources to sort them out sucessfully.

Hmmm, perhaps a you should approach the BB provider and buy some advert space..................... (Given that this is a forum)

In addition, it was my understanding that each provider within the 3.5Ghz spectrum was on a seperate frequency, with each frequency protected by a 50Ghz guard channel. If what you say is true, then why not contact COMREG and have them hit these providers hard?

I am sure that you offer an outstanding service, however remember the advice from the movie TOP GUN, "Don't write cheques your ego can't cash".
