The service is still not satisfactory. My DL speeds are very variable. I have a 1Mbps service which used to reliably deliver DL speeds of 750kbps-860kbps, which was acceptable. Now I am seeing variability from 340kbps to 860kbps. It's all over the place and it ain't my line.

Sigh.
Hi, folks.

I'm new to all of this, and I'm a bit bothered by performance issues. If I understand this post correctly, speeds at about 80% of the nominal speed are not to be considered a real problem, whereas speeds averaging about 50% of the nominal speed would be counted as bad. Is that about right?

I'm trying to get my head around the idea of an acceptable level of underperformance.
