 Clearwire Block Video/Audio Communication
Having used them for 9 months I gave up, returned the modem and stopped the payments. They started pretty good, but fairly soon they blocked most forms of SIP protocol, which is necessary for video and audio chatting, such as with Apple iChat, AOL video. Further, they heavily downgraded the speed for Skype connections, so even though Skype video is not blocked, it is quite useless.
I've spent hours and perhaps 20 phonecalls over the period of 9 months trying to fix it, always being told "it will be in the next 2 weeks" or "we will call you". Needless to say, not.
However, if you are a basic web user, only www and email, no gaming, no VOIP, no video-audio, no P2P and no VPN connections to office, Clearwire may be pretty good.
