PPS: My brother also told me that the biggest packages some french providers have for residential users is 20Mbps... He didn't tell me the price, but i'm pretty sure that it's still affordable for a medium-class residential user.... 20 Mbps !! Now you've got to find the servers to respond with such speed, if you want to take advantage of it... But I wouldn't mind :P
PPPS: With the expansion of fiber optic coming into your living room the 20Mbps are also likely to double in a couple of years.
