Yeah, you see I tried to cancel my direct debit but my bank told me that clearwire operate an "originator plus" direct debit, in which case the bank can't stop them taking your money. I was advised to write them a letter asking them to cancel the DD and just invoice me instead. I did that and even still, a few days after they'd received the letter they took my monthly payment from my account... I think at this stage, they're being illegal. I guess I'll just bring the modem back to the shop and go from there. |
