Default CW Problems

I too have a Wireless ISP, I did have CW but it never worked and I changed provider without a problem as the CW service never worked. I just wanted to say that my new ISP is wireless and I don't have the problems others have. When I ordered my BB the company came out to my house to test the signal and run some tests, CW never done that they just sold me the modem in the Fairgreen Centre and I had to install it myself (with lots of help from a friend).

My brother also ordered BB the same time as me and only lives 100mts away from our house but he could not get it as the engineer said that there was some trees reducing his signal. They could not install anyone if the signal was low as it would only give problems later on. I think CW should do the same and send out an engineer to test the connection and signal first, if they had they would have been able to tell me that I could't get there service and would have saved me the hassle.

From what I can see, wireless is very good but it looks like it all depends on the company you use. I had to pay an install fee but my monthly rental is much less that CW, I guess the high install fee pays for the engineer and the better equipment.
