From your reply you say that you are getting a max of 1.5Mb's on a 5Mb connection when you should be getting speeds nearer to 4.8-4.9Mb's. It is possible that you have not been upgraded but are still being billed for it. Do not use DW's speedtest tool, as it is far from accurate. They even admit to it. The speedtest tool used on this site however is accurate and up to date, as well as speedtest.net. To answer your other question I am on the Metro 3Mb package and now again I am getting an average 2.86-2.92Mb after nearly 2 months of speeds of sometimes lower that 512kb. I did mention in my earlier message that contacting support was futile as they are very reluctant to admit that the issues affecting you may be at their end and not yours. But if you are planning to contact DW support let us know how you got on through the main forum (but please send me a private message using the facility available on this site to let me know who you dealt with there, as I would be interested on who you get)  |
