Clearwire is a wireless technology at the end of the day it's always going to be more prone to fluctuations and issues than a fixed line product.
Lets face it if you have broadband from eircom it goes down their cabling, to your property, all of which is owned and controlled by Eircom, with Clearwire it's not that simple, they can't control what happens between you and the base station unless they manage to fence off all the land inbetween which obviously is not going to happen, it effects all wireless providers to a degree.
Hopefully though when WIMAX comes out things will be much improved. |
