I find the speedtest on this site very good during the day and the afternoon and gives me roughly what I would expect to get on NTL and Eircom connections I have, but in the evening some days but not all I find sometimes this site gives me much slower figures than I would expect, I can tell these are inaccurate results as other speed tests seem to give me similar results no matter what.
The acid test, which is much more reliable and far better than any speed test could ever do is of course is downloading a large file from somewhere with lots of bandwidth, of which I can download at a large speed but get only 1/5th of that on this speedtest. |
