You don't say wheither you are on their DSL or Metro wireless service. If you are using Metro the issue you describe has happened before, but in Naas, Kildare. It did take a while to sort it but it took changing the Thompson modem on 2 occasions to do it. DW had to admit it at the end. So it would be worth contacting their support by phone while at home. They will tell you if your modem is the problem or not. However you say it takes approx 30 mins for the modem to set up when it should (according to Digiweb) take less that 1 minute. So it could be the modem that is at issue after all. |
