The reason I am here today is because of the speed test on this site.

To cut a long story short, I am a customer of IBB and have a 2MG a/c, the usual story - grand at first and then S*** for about 2 months! I discovered irishisptest and found that at times, my speed was less than 24kbts up and down!!
I rang IBB (hanging on for at least 30mins per call) and after many calls, I was told that someone using a local router was interfering with my signal. It took a full month before they came and rerouted me to a different mast.

Now my speed is always over 1.7MG both ways (I check every day) but for all my troubles IBB have only given me 2 weeks credit!

I don't think that you would call me a happy customer and my advise is: scream and shout at them

By the way, I was informed by the two fitters that the ratio that they are told to set 2MG customers is 24/1 although my contract states 20/1
