Default Better?

I upgraded 2 days ago to a 6meg service and it's fallen from what was about average 2.4megs down to 1.7megs............. can't really understand why, when i rang they asked all the usual questions .... antivirus, firewall and OS, and told me a tech would ring. Guess what, still no phone call. Time to ring again me thinks!

X.

i find on peak times the 6mb slows down more than the 3mb did, strange, i have no idea how they contend their lines, usually before 6pm i get full 6mb speed but after 6 can go below 3. still they are a far cry from irishbroadband which is just slow all the time.

Default Chorus service cork city

I've made numerous phone calls to chorus complaining re dropped service..they sent tech out.. of course it was fine when he called and he could find nothing wrong but its still the same.
Somehow i've caught the attention of someone in their office in Limerick and seem they seem keen to sort problem(having admitted there is a prob in cork city) so their sending a crew tomorrow to investigate...should be interesting

I am now waiting 3 weeks for my upgrade although I have been charged for the new service i have still not been upgraded. They are sending a Tech to my house on Monday to "see". I'd say that they dont believe me cause he wont b able to upgrade me from my house, unless I'm mistaken??

My patience is runing out.............

X.

i got my upgrade a few days after i ordered it no probs, they do it from their end no need to send anyone round. speeds good most of the time but i'd say the lines are over contended during peak times, get the odd few days with no service, but they are definatly better now than they were at the end of 2006.
