Which servers are you trying to connect to?

If you ping this server what kind of ping do you get?

I have no dealings with clearwire

Ping depends on how far from the server you are so I must quote

If you go into the clearwire thread you will read about the problems people
are having with them, including online gaming. I used to be with clearwire and
I couldnt play battlefield either. You might also notice problems with p2p
downloading. Ive said it many times before and ill say it again, clearwire is not
the way to go for residential customers, in my experience and many other
people who posted in the clearwire thread.

I had chorus broadband and clearwire broadband in my house at the same
time for a while and online games ran well on chorus, but if I switched to
clearwire nothing worked.

Im with eircom now and its excellent so far.

Have a read of the thread anyway, see what you think.

Default Ping speeds

Yeah i have the clearwire 2mb deal and live 500 Yards from transmitter and ping on Call Of Duty in Afternoon around 40 / 50 , Night it go's up to anything up to 250 and above, I notice it jumps around alot when connected to game servers. Far Cry cant even play any time ping to high. Halo works ok, I think thats because there are a few Irish Servers out there, Unreal 4 is about the best for ping speeds. Everything is fine when browsing or downloading just crap for games for some reason. On isptest download nearly allways above 2mb, up load around 350kbps any time. I Had Irish broadband before this and that was a complete joke, Slower than dial-up. What is the best package 4 Gaming In peoples opinion?

Default clearwire being helpfull...strange

hi all.bear with me know when i explain.i got a call tonight from clearwire asking for there modem back in a nice way.i had promised them it back 2 months ago but i didnt give it back because i was tryig to get another isp sorted first.he apoligized for not being able to fix my "gaming issue" as he phrased it.which means they wont unblock the port i us 4 bf1942.i owe rental 4 the last 2 months but if i drop the modem back there will be no rental or fee for breaking contract(120).he was to nice this guy i felt i as being surveyed because he was so genuine with questions he was asking me about other isp's and what did i think was the best for games.ok thats it for now that call has me in shock so i'll keep u imformed if any more updates but i hate to say this maybe clearwire is trying to get there act together....hehe not religous but strike me down for saying that.
