Motherboard Motherboard

Computers and PCs What kind of hardware do you have? What software? Which operating system?

Default Motherboard
My computer has a Gigabyte GA-7VKMP motherboard, an AMD 2200+ CPU and 1 meg Ram. Recently a problem arose with the front USB ports and they had to be disconnected and the service people say the motherboard may be on it's way out.
Is there a motherboard available that would allow me to use most of the other components as well as improving performance. If so what would you recommend?

If you can't get one brand new you might pick up something on Ebay, as there's usually a pretty good choice of new kit even if it's older models
