Default ATI Crossfire or Nvidia SLI

The time has come to retire my aging Dell 8200. I'm looking at building my own rig and think I'll go for a motherboard supporting the new Intel 45nm cpu.

I also intend to install dual graphics cards but I can't decide whether to opt for ATI Crossfire or Nvidia SLI.

I've been a long time fan of Nvidia cards but have heard that Nvidia chipset motherboards are not great with the new Intel cpu's. I think this will pobably be sorted in due course but I'd rather go with the best graphics option. However, I don't know which is best, ATI Crossfire or Nvidia SLI.

Any comments please.
