Default outlook express incomong mail issues

HI There
Just wondering if anyone has seen this before. When i open outlook express i get a connection error. I have an eircom account and when i chek the account propertiesmy incoming mail server is 127.0.0.1 this should be
mail2.eircom.net, I have changed this to the corrwct setting and applied it but it keeps defaulting back to the other server address. I have ran spybot and lavasoft and cleared what that has found but above issue remains unresolved.
any ideas????
John

Default

127.0.0.1 is to connect back to yourself.

You may find that you have spamfilter or antivirus software which has set up on your machine.

This is normal.

you may have gotten the connection error because this program was turned off.
