Default Digiweb Static IP addressing

Hi all,

I need to get some questions answered from Digiweb and the morons on the support line answer "uhh its assigned by DHCP, its assigned by DHCP"

I need to know the following,

1. My static IP (I have this)
2. The Default Route
3. The Subnet Mask

Im connecting the Thomson into a Cisco 1841.

All they can say is, you guessed it "uhh its assigned by DHCP" does anyone have a contact in Digiweb who I could talk to?

Appricate the help.

Thanks, Joe

Can you not connect directly to it (without any routers etc) and then do an ipconfig /all in a command window?

No, becasue the Static IP is locked down to the MAC address of the cisco int 0/1

If I plug it into a PC I get a completly different IP address.

I have the Static IP, the problem is getting The Default Route
& The Subnet Mask of the IP. I spoke to 3 support reps and no one can tell me.

Well you should be able to work out the default route by
tracert to a known address

windows key and R
tracert google.ie
the first or 2nd will give you the next hop (default) router to use

you may then be able to also work out the subnet mask from that
by using your own ip address and the ip address of the subnet and make a guestimation based on that?
