I am St. Margarets, fairly close to Swords using Digiweb mobile and have to say it works well. Dont expect anything near 5.3, i average a decent 2.3-2.6 down and 1.9 - 2.2 up. I have had very very few outages and having been using it for about 6 months now am on the whole fairly happy with it. On the down side it is very site specific, it took me hours and hours to get it sited just right to get them speeds and moving it just a few degree's off throws the speeds all over the place. its also a little higher than dsl pings with a norm of 40/50 to irish game servers.

Thats what i do with it mate, Call Of Duty 4 on pc. I am one of the admins for Irish E Sports. I ping 40 to our servers which happen to be hosted with digiweb aswell. So i would have to say yes, once you can get modem in a good spot (in a window facing west'ish) you should be good to go for online gaming.

Well i have never used it with a ps3. Does the ps3 have an RJ45 connection port or is it wireless? you would probably have to adjust some of the firewall settings to allow it to connect but to answer your question yes i would assume so. I know a mate of mine has and still does uses it on a xbox 360 with no problems
