Default How to access the Digiweb Thompson Modem.

Hi all,

I have been reading these Forums for a while now and just didnt think of joining until now,

Mt Question is, I have the Digiweb Metro Service, they use the Thompson Modems, I cant get Programs like Bittorrent to work for me, as far as i Know i need to access the Nat settings on the Modem and open ports, does anybody knoe the way to get into this, all i can get at is the basic settings through my browser, I is telling me the advance setttings are disabled..

Hope somebody knows what im on about

hey, i've the same set-up as you and haven't had any prob's with p2p progs. Cud be that digiweb need to open ur ports. Give 'em a buzz.

use another client. there is at least 20 of them.

bitcommet is very good- or u can also ue internet download manager (portable version)

Digiweb don't block torrent ports! It may be that you need to open them on your firewall and on your router! Check out PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall

you need to open ports on your norton or whatever firewall you use. it can be tricky. As for accessing the thompson advanced settings, it's blocked by the firmware.
