 Digiweb cheats?
Hi,
lately i am receiving an invoice email from Digiweb, that tells me the price of my monthly subscription, my connection and offcourse the average date they will debit my bank account.
So the funniest thing is, i was sitting on 3mb/s DSL all this time, when i moved to Balbriggan this ISP was the only reasonable ISP to subscribe with. After the upgrade of Eircom's DSL lines or whatever, Digiweb has updated all accounts +1mb/s for the same price. So i downgraded my new 4mb/s wich was €96.79 (outstanding balance) back to 3mb/s to pay €50 or something, becouse i did not find any use of having one more mb/s more but paying double price, was satisfied with what i have. So after account downgrade they charged me 20 euros for that, i checked with my bank statement and yes i was debited.
Do you know what happens now? I have 3mb/s speed now as suspected (where all speed tests shows 1.29mb/s only and ping for Quake3 game jumped from 33 to 160), but i am still receiving an invoice of 4mb/s broadband with same €96.79 price wich is debited from my account.
I rang the engineers, they works till 20.00PM, but offices only till 17.00PM, and i have no chance to ring them becouse of my busy work. So what enginers told me? "Yes your account been downgraded, yes you have 3mb/s wich is 330KB/s,,, Sorry we dont know anythig about payments, please contact our offices wich are now closed.... I will email an office for you, so they will ring you back tomorrow"
I never received that call and i am still being charged for 4mb/s braodband, but using 3mb/s
what a shame.
