Eircom's new pricing

Eircom has recently reviewed pricing of their broadband options.
Self install - €81.81
Monthly prices from €33.05 to €169 depending on contract type.

The wholesale rate has also dropped, so resellers, such as Netsource may drop their prices.

I got broadband this month and it didn't cost me anything to install, Free wireless router. It costs 35.99 a month, 1mps connection and 8192mb bandwidth a month(bit small)
Its a good deal from Eircom but if it was in my area id get Ntl broadband its much better deal check it out!

Seems to me eircom are the worst.

Smart are offering cheaper broadband with no contention ratio for the 2m connection and all other companies (BT, Irish Braoadband etc) are offering cheaper pricing for the same eircom broadband connections and contention ratios.

But out of all the companys that run off of eircoms lines eircom gives the best customer service because when something goes wrong they know whats wrong. The other companys hve to ask eircom whats wrong.

I found Eircom customer care nothing less than awful. They are extremely rude and very unhelpful and you could be on hold for anything up to an hour. At least other companies can be a slight bit more pleasant to the customers, even if it does take them that bit longer to actually get around to solving problems.
