Lightbulb eircom

does anyone use bt ireland broadband? i would like to get the members
views on reliablility of sevice, speed etc. i was thinking of changing from eircom. ger

I am on Eircom myself Ger, but my mate has BT and has been having terrible problems, he is less than half a mile from the exchange and is only getting about 1meg on what is suppossed to be a 3meg business connection! Poor QoS also. Has made repeated attempts to have the problem sorted since January, but has now given up and is moving to Eircom....

Wait and see what anyone else has to say, one bad experiance doesn't really tell the full picture.

As I said I am with Eircom myself and as far as the connection goes I have been happy with the service, at the end of the day it is just the price I object to, although that has been improving.

As of now I plan to move to Smart as soon as my exchange is enabled...
