O my god i cant tell you people enough how happy i am im over the moon, i can finally get a different braodband service in my area, no more crapy EIRCOM! so im going to get my eircom modem and burn it burn it to a crisp!, 4 whole years of torture and frustration and being ripped off time and time again for in my opinion the worst broadband out there (and ive seen them all). At one stage i upgraded my eircom to the best broadband package they had to find out 5 months later that they never upgraded it, but yet it was still ok for them to charge me for the best package and finally when they did upgrade it i honestly couldnt see a difference. so ill say again im sooooo happy no more crapy eircom good bye for good i hope you go out of business because your all a bunch of GANSTERS!

I don't mean to burst your bubble but just make sure before you move that the new ISP is not only reselling the Eircom bitstream product that you have been so unhappy with.

i had a rock solid line from eircom for 2 yrs, couldnt fault their service tbh (price is a diff story though)

I loved eircom - had them for 2 years, never a problem, fast speeds and only two or three outages, and I use it all the time. However - expensive, so I fell for chorus's cheaper package, same service for less money with 3 months free. I hate them; it's unreliable and usually SLOOOOOOW, so I'd stick with eircom folks; I'm going back as soon as possible.

I've been with eircom broadband for a number of years now and, overall, I am very satisfied with their service.
