Question Another Eircom Broadband Slowdown.

In the Cork area, on Home Professional Package 3mb down / 384k up.

Currently getting speeds of 46k per sec.

Anyone else experiencing this in Cork or anywhere else?

Seems to be the very same story as a few weeks ago. I have UTV 3mb in Roscrea, Tipperary. I'm getting speeds of 1.78kbps. Rang UTV who logged a fault! It was the first they'd heard of it.

Default Eircom Response

I spoke to Eircom TS - there is no apparent fault but they are escalating the fault report. Speeds seem to be coming back slowly.

Will await further developments.

Thumbs down Eircom Slowdown

Cork(Douglas)

Although not with Eircom the speed tonight is extremely poor this evening. The poorest I have had. Down to 200kbps on a 2Mb package.

Default Eircom slowdown

My belief is that the whole system is not capable to do the work that it is suppose to do. The LLu has been a failure and no one except Eircom has the power to do anything.

The Regulator has no power to do anything and we the consumer has to suffer.

Until the Regulator takes on Eircom nothing will happen.
I have tried TS with BT, they blame Eircom and Bt Blame Eircom
