Big problem with Bt

wtf is going on with bt. im using a 2mbps connection with the zyxel wireless router and a buffalo wirelss card in my pc. the speed tests ive been doing show my download speed going from 600kbps to 2.75mbps and in one test it went from 2.75mbps to 1.9mbps in a second. it also times out constantly, sometimes every minute and its so annoying :s whats going on and is it possibe that my wireless card is the problem?

Are you sure that's a 2mb connection?, i'm on the 2mb package myself with BT and I can only achieve speeds of 1.75Mbps. 1.9(mbps - 2.75mbps is excellent for a 2mb connection. My connection does drop the odd time also, and I have to go into the modem page to restart the connection manually.., it's rare though. i'm using the Netopia 2247NWG-VGx wireless

well its rare that it goes upto 2.75 mostly its just slow all the time lol
