Default What's up with BT 3MB in Galway

This is odd. I'm on their 3MB service which worked great until 1 week ago but no I get a QOS of between 3% and 15%. Can't get more than about 20KB/s download some days and a max of 40 where I used to get over 200.

Strange thing is that a bunch of my clients around Galway have asked me the same thing all over the last 10 days.

Another odd thing is that my upload speed is fine at around 300kbps.

Weirdness abounds!

Seems fine at the moment. Getting good speeds now 2.3Mbps on the speed test and 77% qos with 9.1ms jitter.

More than 10 times the speed than yesterday and far less packets lost.

Keep on at them and get that QoS up to 95%-99%. There has to be a problem with something in the exchange. Is there any construction work going on in the path your line would roughly take?

Also, see my post here:
3 Mb broadband Dublin 15, Clonee exchange
