Default bt upgrade

Believe it when it comes. For many months now my speed has dropped from1.7 to 1.3 on a 2 download.

Default BT Upgrade

Well said, I would believe it when it came. Speed went up to 1.8MB download last evening but back 1.3Mb today, wonderful.

Hmmm my line was supposedly upgraded the weekend gone... I just checked my download speed using this and for 2mb it said my download was at 2.56mb so I'm hoping its right...

Just checked mine now. Download 1.8mb and upload .236

On the last set up on over over the last 12 months 1.3mb so there is some improvement.

Yup they've kept their word, my downloading speed today was at a very nice 300kb+/sec when I'm only paying for 2mb so yipee! I get the same download allowance of 20gb per month but I get 3mb speed which I'm delighted with

All i got was an increase in my ping now its 125+ to dublin.

Can somebody please tell me if I'm using the speed test correctly - it just seems to sit there and do nothing
I have selected the ISP and the line speed and when I click the "Start Speed"

I had the same issue with Explorer. Downlkoaded the latest Java update and still no joy.
Downloaded and installed Firefox and it works first time. My speed is reporting @2.6 Mb download so not to bad.

It now works using Firefox - line speed of 1.8 was due to be upgraded to 3 over the weekend according to BT site but will give them a couple of days grace before I ask them.

Over the weekend I changed my router, filters and wiring. Now my download is up to what it should have been all the time.

2.6MB download and .326 upload.

They day some time in September download is being upped again
