Any one here having problem with bt slow speeds and connection dropping out . Terrible this weekend . I live in Bagenalstown where there is an exchange,but I might as well be in the mountains. I have gone throgh 3 routers in the last eighteen months. I strongly suspect the routers themselves are not great.

I am living in Kilkenny city ..supposedly 2km from the hub. I am paying for 24MB download with BT and I am (only) getting 14MB download if you believe the Voyager 2110 Router or about 11.5MB download if you believe the stats on this site.

I have to restart the router at least once a day, sometimes twice as it drops connection. I have been on to BT Ireland many times about the speed and line drop issue many times but no satifactory outcome. They tend to tell you that you are one of the lucky ones and not to mind the misleading speeds quoted in their advertising!

Anyone else got better speeds / connection in Carlow / Kilkenny?

The phone line is fine for voice calls, I'd have to say.
