Default Overcharged on bill. check yours

Just to let people know I was overcharged on my bill this month. I'm on broadband option 2 with lin rental wich is supposed to be 30euro broadband and 10 euro line rental. Normally they put the line rental down on my bill as 39.92 (for two months) then discount me 23.16 but they never gave me the discount this month. Check yours cause I'm sure if its happened to one its happened to others.

I should add they rectified it with a quick call but the st*pid thing is they'll overcharge me this month and re-emburse me on next months bill????

Default Overcharging

Yes I was supposed to get charged half price for the first 4 months, i.e. €15 a month.

Instead I got charged the full price and I also got charged €5 for a printed bill even though according to my profile I have selected online billing and I never recieved bill in post.

I am with them 3 months now. I rang up 3 times and every time they tell me it will be sorted on the next bill.

My initial 6 month contract is up now, so if its not sorted soon I will move to different broadband provider.

My speed is also seriously slow.

I'm in dublin city centre and i've no problems with their service. I get speeds of about 1.77mbps download and 222kbps upload. I'm just a little unhappy with their billing probblems. which they have said they are trying to rectify.

Sadly they do not appear to know the meaning of the word - this has been going on for years. All applications for Esat should carry a Government Wealth warning............

Esat despite their service level on the broadband side have _always_ been lacking on the accounts side of things. There are 100s of horror stories where people have had legal action threatened where the problem was completely on esats side.

I still can't fathom how in Gods name they still haven't fixed these issues. The likes of Eircom/netsource/ibb/digiweb etc have it right. How the hell are esat still b0rk on the billing side of things.
