The service is good in my zone , but now it is quite expensive . Today the are better connections at cheaper prices . From october the service of Tin has been bought by Telecom Italia - Alice .

the difference in speed during the day is 100% down to contention. clearwire do not have enough bandwidth to cover their subscription. was talking to someone who has been using clearwire forever and at the beginning she said she was getting full speed all day, obviously because she was one of the few subscribers at the time. looking at my own connection this morning, was getting 120K/Bs at 9am, down to 90 now as more people come on line localy and it will be 30 by 2pm gauurenteed

just for kicks I rang clearwire just now. They told me I was on the Guinness mast in dub city center but could not/would not tell me how much bandwidth the mast had or even the connection ratio. i was told a manager would contact me next week

I use Reach Broadband, I think they are a small company but in the short time I have had it, its been very good.

I use digiweb's dsl xtra package down in Castledermot,Co.Kildare & it rates as follows

ISP: Digiweb
Speed: 4 (2.51mbps is my average on the speed test)
Reliability: 4 (would have got 5 but I've only had it a week so let's' see what it''s like in a couple months time)
Support: 4-everytime I've called them they've been excellent.
Price:2-I pay 42 euros a month which compared to the uk (where I'm from) is fairly expensive.
