I have been monitoring this forum for some time now and I am amused at the amount of silly people who instead of supporting ISPs are putting them down constantly.
The most of you should be glad that ISP providers and especially the small providers have got off their arses and invested whatever they can to provide some sort of a service to people who the likes of Eircom and the Government have forgotten about. Without these small ISPs, a lot of you would not be able to access this website to complain about "getting 10kbps less than what you are paying for".

For christ sake would you all shut up complaining and be glad for whatever you have and think about the people who cannot even get ISDN never mind about ADSL or wireless.

This forum is turning out like the Joe Duffy show. A gateway for complainers.

My god you are right Copman we should stop complaining and posting about these great companys who out of the goodness of their hearts are providing us with access to the interweb and not making any money from it what so ever and while we are at it lets just let them empty our back accounts so they can continue to provide rubbish service for inflated prices.

I wonder how much moneythese companys made last year in profits while failing to reach any of their promised speeds or QoS. This forum is for people to find information on ISP's in their areas and judging from the amout of complaints about providers can you not see how bad the broadband rollout is in Ireland. We rank as one of the worst european countries in price, availability and speed in broadband access and if it wasnt for forums like these, where else would you find information on a given provider.
I can only relate my own experiance but i have been with 4 different ISp's in the last year. Ice Broadband i found to be ok but have very poor coverage. I switched to clearwire and have yet to find anyone with something good to say about them as they are one of the worst providers in Ireland, and finally i was with eircom but there lines are so bad the best the could manage was to charge me for 2meg broadband but only supply a half meg connection.
Complainers- Yes i am and while i am spending my hard earned money on a service i expect it to be as advertised. If i went out for dinner and ordered a steak i wouldnt be happy if chicken turned up and the same with my broadband conection.

Why don't you take a look at our European counterparts and what they have to pay plus the download/upload speeds they get, and then you will see that we are bottom of the leauge, Which isp are you working for ?

im on 3mb,eircom and so far i get what i pay for,,but, i play with dutch guys online on cod4 and cod2 sniper server, and they get 25 mb &tv&phone for 25 euro a month,. i believe every government is just out for the fast buck and quick fix, then pass the job on to the next guy, but see what they can do with a little effort and forethought as in Netherlands

Weare mostly complaing about cowboy opperators who set you up on wireless and then leave you to figure for yourself why you can't get access to the Internet, and after a while of collecting money from your bank, they no longer can be reached, as has happened with 2 differant providers in my area. I wonder would you be one of those types or work for them.

God Almighty Why don't you shut the F*&K up! We are the third from the bottom on a league table for broadband speeds out of the entire planet! Maybe thats why we complain.
