Default Webcams

Any ideas on the best/practical/value for money webcams? I'm moving abroad for a while and I'd like to use one of these gizmos for keeping in touch - as well as VOIP of course. And ALL THAT is dependant on acquiring a broadband connection....and THAT on getting a phone-line!!!!! I was considering one of the big names i.e. Logitech/Creative etc

I am pretty sure you can use a digital camera as a web cam. You already probably have one.

Default Resolution

The resolution on most if not all digital cameras except top of the range pro equipment is very low. check your cameras settings on video and there is usually 3 settings on most digital cameras. If still not sure let me know camera make & model and I will see if is possible.
