iTunes Restrictions?

I don't have an iTunes account yet, but I heard that there were restrictions on what you could buy with the Irish ones.
Does anyone know if this is true?

The reason I ask is because I'd like to get my hands on some of the TV shows, but they aren't listed on the Irish portal

Currently there are no shows to download. Only disney/pixar shorts are available for purchase and no sign of when tv shows will be available for purchase in Ireland. Each country has its own portal so everything you see when logged into the Irish iTunes site is available for purchase. Items in the US or any other countries store are not available for purchase. You can only buy from the Irish store. Still on the other hand there's plenty of music choice and lots of music videos too!

Can a US member send you a download?

Well not really as a US member can send you a download as can anyone but if it is the original music/video download it is restricted to being able to be played on only 5 computers using the original buyers iTunes account username and password. You have to authorise (then later deauthorise) a computer to play a download so i doubt if another user will give you their account information. Are you're looking for episodes of TV shows?

I was interested in Scrubs series 5 as it's available on iTunes ... unless of course you are in Ireland

I know they are available on torrent sites, but I was trying to be legal
