Default Configure Media Centre for tv

HI all,
This my first post so big hi , I am currently running on ntl broadband suppose to be 6 mb but is currently running at 7.6 how bad ,
anyway my problem is pc is advent T9206.I have tv connection running into back of pc but when I try to get tv channels on pc its says their is no signal present ,I have the cable connection split with a 2 way splitter and the broad band is working fine from it ,anybody have any ideas???

u need the cable to connect to ur ntl box or what ever u have or plug it in the the normal tv plug thats on the wall then try tuning it.

Thanks spud , problem is the tv socket on wall is connected to pc for broadband as well........
