Lightbulb lidl 32" LCD-Too good to be true?

Anyone seen the 32" LCD advertised in Lidl for this Thursday (23rd nov) for €649?
Lidl Tv Spec

It's HD ready and seems to have all the usual specs you'd expect from an LCD HD TV but I'm not really familiar with the manufacturer, Targa. Doesn't necessarily mean it's crap cause it's not made by Sony or Philips but that can very often be the case!
Anyone got any insight into it?

Default Lidl special offers

Hi Cormac

Nice find, it does seem to be great value.

If you want to check out Lidl special offers before buying don't forget they are a German company that usually have a preference for supplying German manufactured goods. I have found that trying .de after the manufacturers name in your browser usually brings you to the appropriate manufacturers website, in this case here.

Notwithstanding that most of us will not speak or read German it is still fairly simple to find that they have an English website here thereby allowing you to check out the goods, the company and it’s aftersales/service options before you buy.

Hi I have bought some of these Targa systems from Lidl and have to say they are as good as any of the top high street items. I have a DLP and a surround sound dvd player both over a year old and still excellent, also Lidl offer a three year guarantee also so there is peace of mind.
When I bought the dlp the nearest high street one with anywhere near the same spec was nearly 5 times dearer.

LCD's are a strange breed though! Theirs lots of crap out there. contrast ratio is 1000:1 and brightness is 450 cd/m - Don't know what they signify exactly but I know most LCD's are higher!
