New Irish Gaming Server

Irish E-Sports is proud to finally announce it's new dedicated server located in Dublin.
This new server provides Irish players with exceptional pings! (as low as 5ms on the TF2 server)

Irish E-Sports is an Irish Gaming Community/Clan founded in mid 2006 and since then has grown massively. The clan was originally founded around Battlefield 2142, but since then has spread into several different games... With members from Ireland, England and the Netherlands and a few other countries .:iE/ is a diverse group of people playing all sorts of games.

Anyway onto the good stuff - here's the official list of our new game servers IP and port numbers for the games:

My PC barely runs Battlefied 2142 on High settings without the odd jerk or cache lag. I'm not about to get too ambitious. Besides, I'm only new to the world of MMO gaming. 2142 is still a novelty for me.

Here's the proof that CoD4 would just be an annoyance over being fun (see screenshot). I'm still running an Intel Prescott (single core). At least it's better than a Northwood!

That's because you don't meet the recommended system spec (you could still play it though with that pc).

I'm assuming your pc is about 3 years old, maybe a bit more. That's why it would struggle running the game.

Indeed. I built it in June 2005. I just don't have the money for a decent overhaul, but when I do, I'm going to do it right! All the trimmings.

In the meantime, I might check CoD4 out and see if it's worth playing on my machine. I'd hate to have to run the lot on minimal settings. That always just annoys me.
