Why on earth would you want one?. If gaming history has thought us anything, its that a console is only as good as its games. And so far the Ps3 has been lacking in titles to say the least.
If I was you i would wait a while before I hand over that much cash.
A word of warning from experience. There may be good prices for PS3s on Pixmania at PIXMANIA, but I had a very bad experience on the only occasion I dealt with them. Good prices for most stuff but I wouldn't touch them again even with a very long bargepole! It would take me a couple of A4 pages to detail the trauma/crap I endured. First.. when I tried to get a refund for the return postage cost of a keyboard they sent me instead of the printer I had ordered. Second... when I tried to get a refund of the printer cost after I cancelled the order because of the delivery cock-up. I did eventually get both refunds but the two months it took with emails flashing to and fro, not to mention the faxes and phone-calls, didn't do my blood pressure any good at all!

As I already said, I want it as a Blu Ray player.
I have absolutely no interest in using it as a console

Ive been waiting Metal Gear Solid 4 to come out before I get the PS3. It'll be out
in a month. Some decent games out now or on the way. GTA IV, The Orange
Box, The Getaway, COD4 although I'd recommend this one on PC.
Can i use my three mobile broadband with ps3, if i can then how do i set it up???????????
You need to "bridge" the connection from the 3modem, through your laptop or PC. This means that the PC/Laptop must be on at all times while you play online with the PS3.
Personally, don't know if it would be worth your while - the pings with 3 are horrendous, and in the majority of cases far too high to sustain online gameplay.
